Structural Epoxy Pouring Resin

Optional Grout version (thicker)

Sizes - 1 litre, 2.5 litre and 7.5 litre kegs.

Two versions - Resin or Grout - supplied as three part, thick porridge like pouring resins (two liquids and a powder).

Uses - for filling holes and, in combination with reinforcement rods, for structural repair of timber and masonry, including concrete. Self levelling, self de-gassing (bubbles of air, trapped during mixing, will rise to the surface and escape)

Mixing - mix using a paddle in an electric drill.

Usage rate - by volume - 1 litre will fill a void 100mm x 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4" x 4"). A hole 300mm x 300mm x 300mm (1ft x 1ft x 1ft) will require 27 litres.

Thixotropic Injection and Laminating Resin

A two part, (two gels) thick injection resin. This resin does not drip or run - it is similar in consistency to Vaseline or Swarfega.

Sizes - 400cc and 1000cc (1 litre)

Uses:

1. For injecting into cracks, slots and holes, when used with a Cartridge Tube Kit.

2. For laminating and bonding materials together, by spreading.

3. For MOT Brake Roller re-coating, in combination with our Grits.

4. In combination with reinforcement rods, for structural repair of timber and masonry, including concrete.

5. As an anchor resin, to bond rods, studs, bolts and reinforcement into masonry and concrete.

Mixing - mix using a pallet knife, by hand.

Usage rate - by volume - 1 litre will fill a void 100mm x 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4" x 4"). A 400cc pack will fill a hole 25mm in diameter to a depth of 800mm. Extension tubes are available, made to order, to reach the base of any hole depth and in varying diameters.

Thixotropic Rapid Injection Resin

Thixo Rapid is a nozzle mixing two part product for rapid setting injection - 3 to 8 minutes, in a single plastic cartridge.

Sizes - 310cc single cartridge (yields 280cc)

Uses - can be used for anchors, bolts, studs and stitching in masonry, render and concrete crack repair.

Mixing - simply insert into a standard skeleton gun and screw on the mixing tube. Inject gently, like putting paste on your toothbrush, from the bottom of the hole outwards.

Usage rate - 280cc will fill a 10mm x 100mm slot for a length of 280mm (a typical 'stitch' repair would be 1000mm long).

Chemical Anchor Polyester Resin

For hole injection to secure an anchor bolt, bar or threaded bar - , supplied in a dual piston, concentric cartridge.

Size - 380cc concentric cartridge

Uses - can be used for anchors, bolts, studs and stitching in masonry - suitable for use with steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brick, stone and render.

Mixing - simply insert into a concentric type skeleton gun and screw on the mixing tube. Inject from the bottom of the hole outwards.

Usage rate - 380cc will fill 8 x 20mm diameter holes to a depth of 150mm, assuming maximum wastage, where you fill the hole, rather than allow for the resin that will be displaced by the bar or bolt, and only part fill the hole.

Pure Epoxy Resin

For repairs to metal, masonry and wood - supplied in a dual piston, side by side plastic cartridge.

Size - 380cc twin tube cartridge

Mixing - simply insert into a 1:1 ratio skeleton gun and screw on the mixing tube. Inject from the bottom of the hole outwards or spread onto mating surfaces.

Uses - can be used for anchors, bolts, studs and stitching in masonry, bonding and laminating - suitable for use with steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brick, stone and render.

Usage rate - 380cc will fill 8 x 20mm diameter holes to a depth of 150mm, assuming maximum wastage where you fill the hole, rather than allow for the resin that will be displaced by the bar or bolt, and only part fill the hole. For surface bonding or lamination allow a minimum of 1 litre per square metre, assuming a thickness of 1mm.

Epoxy Mouldable Putty

Timbabuild

Uses - repair window frames, door frames, timber frames or other wooden structures.. Can be used as an adhesive to bond timber pieces into frames.

Mixing - this filler/adhesive consists of two soft, creamy materials, gunned to give a perfect mix ratio. Mix with a putty knife. There is no shrinkage and it is totally waterproof. This is a professional repair material, as used by window frame repair specialists.

Epoxy Primer/Consolidator

Sizes - 500cc and 1000cc (1 litre)

Uses - Epoxy Primer should always be used before applying Mouldable Epoxy Putty onto smooth timber, planed timber, hardwoods, stone, brick, concrete or render. However, on rough or well dugout softwood timber it is not strictly required.

Ensure that ALL rotted wood is cut out completely. Filling over rot is a waste of money.

Mixing - mix the two liquids thoroughly together in the ratio 2 Base to 1 Activator until a perfectly even colour. Pour into another clean container and re-mix. Apply with a brush, or by pouring.

Usage rate - 1 litre of Epoxy Primer will cover 1 square metre at a thickness of 1mm, or about 6 square metres at a normal paint film thickness.

Epoxy Adhesive Paste

Supplied as two pastes to mix together 1:1.

Sizes - 1 litre, 2.5 litre, 5 litre & 10 litres

Mixing - mix using a pallet knife, by hand, or in bulk using a paddle in an electric drilling machine.

Uses - for laminating and bonding flooring materials to concrete or to each other. Also used for wooden flooring, oak flooring, tile bonding, slate laying. Completely waterproof and structural. Can be used as a combined adhesive and waterproof Membrane. Flexible enough to accommodate oak and other wooden flooring materials, even over under floor heating.

Usage rate - by volume - allow about 1 litre per square metre on smooth surfaces - for example a 6.25 litre pack will give about 6 square metres at 1mm thickness, but for rough surfaces you may need 2mm or even 3mm of thickness. Use a smooth plastic spreader. Can be used as a continuous coating or in 'dabs'.

Tanking Slurry Powder

BBA Certificated.

Size - 25kgs plastic tub

Uses - for coating masonry, brick, stone, floors and walls.

Mixing - mix with water to form a 'slurry' - a smooth, brushable thick paint, like masonry paint.

Application - wet the surfaces first and allow to dry until just damp. Brush on one coat, with horizontal brush strokes and allow to dry. Re-damp before re-coating, if dried right out. Apply a second coat, brushing vertically. This eliminates the risk of missed patches and pinholes. Slurry can be rendered over whilst wet, or prime with another coat, or use BondaAcryl as a primer.

Usage rate - 6 - 8 square metres per 25kgs, per coat, subject to surface roughness.

Also Required when Tanking - Joint Filling Mix - Fillet Seal, (for the floor to wall gap joint), Leakstop - Hydraplug, (for instant leak and weep sealing).

Usage rates - Joint Filling mix - mix with water to produce a stiff mortar, allow 1kg per 1 metre of joint approximately 25mm x 25mm (1 inch x 1 inch) at the floor to wall joint, or in cracks and voids.

Fillet Seal - waterproof cement based mortar

Always cut out cracks or floor to wall joints to a square shouldered slot. Do not simply lay a fillet of Jointfill over the existing crack or gap - this will fail.

Size - 25kgs plastic keg

Uses - for waterproof filling of cracks in masonry, brick, stone, floors and walls.

Mixing - mix with water to form a smooth, stiff mortar. Wet all the repair surfaces first and allow to dry until just damp. Apply a coat of BondAcryl by brush and immediately lay in the Jointfill with a trowel. Smooth to flush.

Usage rate - approximately 1 metre of 25mm x 25mm (1 inch x 1 inch) slot per 1kg of Jointfill powder. So, one 25kg keg will make about 15 litres of joint filling mortar, when mixed with minimal water.

NOTE - Floor to wall joints

These are always one of the weakest parts of construction and are frequently left unfinished.

This gap then bleeds water vapour, which can be sucked up the back of the skirting boards (which may rot) and into the wall plaster. Use our Jointfill or W60 Flexi Grout to fill the gap properly.

Bonding Liquid

Uses - priming, tanking, in sand and cement mixtures.

Priming - mix with cement powder only to create a waterproof primer for new concrete, render or mortar patches.

Tanking Applications - for priming areas ready to receive Jointfill Fillet Seal (to ensure good bonding and eliminate poor or excessive suction), or to prime over Tanked surfaces ready for Render coats of sand and cement.

General Purpose - Bonds repair mortar (sand and cement) to old concrete or render, when used as a primer. Makes a sand and cement mix waterproof, when used instead of water. Allows 'screeds' to be laid much thinner than normal - down from 50mm to 12.5mm.
